Okay, after much consideration, i've decided to give up on my current m/board and am starting to save up for a new system, i've also decided to wait longer so hence i'll end up with more cash to spend,

currently i'm thinking

m/board: ASUSM-M2N32-SLI Deluxe

unless someone recommends with good reason why the

ASUSM-M2N32-SLI Premium Vista,
ASUSM-M2N32 WS PRO, or
ASUSM-M2-Crosshair

would be better

CPU: depending on cash either...

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ (2.5GHz), or
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+ (2.8GHz), or
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+ (3.2GHz)

Memory: 2 to 4 GB of DDRII memory,

i will be keeping my 2 250 GB HD's and my 8800GTS 320MB XXX Graphics card
and continue running Windows XP Pro x64.

Please let me now what you think, though i might end up waiting till AM2+ m/boards reach South Africa and DDR3 takes over.

-------------------------
Core i7 920 @ 3.486 GHz (for now)
Cooled by Zalman 9700 LED - will be when i get the bracket
Gigabyte EX58 - Extreme
6 GB (3 x 2) Corsair XMS DDR3 - 1333
8800 GTS XXX
Powered by Gigabyte 720W PSU
Housed in Antec 900 Black ATX Mid Tower
Windows Vista Ultimate 64

Hey your build looks good, I think for the mobo you can have a look at the ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe , you can use your original memory or you can get this Corsair 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-6400 Dual Channel memory.

Hi again, as I said in the other thread I havn't built it yet but do have the stuff, if you are interested I got 2 x 1GB DDR2 800 by G.Skill for $50.00, dont know if they are any good but I noticed one of the regulars in here was using them. They were also from Newegg. I guess shipping to you is a problem but shouldn't be too much, the only problem would be if they were faulty and needed shipping back I guess.
