Hey, I am building a new computer

AMD 64 X2 5000+
Asus M3AVP DELUXE WIFI
2GB HyperX
MSI 8800GTS G92 512MB
Raptor X 10000RPM 150GB

So I was thinking about putting Vista and XP on one hard drive.

XP for gaming
Vista for everything else,

so how do I do that? and is it possible to later unistall one of the OS?

also, Crysis plays better on XP (DX9) or Vista (DX10)?

Thanks

Well I'm using a 64x2 6000+ with HD2400 Hybrid Graphics and 8GB of main memory and it's quite good I might add.

I intend to get the GeForce Hybrid system in due course and I'm hoping that NVIDIA will have a dual GPU that works with GeForce Boost, so I can have in effect tri-sli because as I am aware that although the RS780 chipset supports 32 PCIe lanes, there are however only 16 which are reserved for a x16 slot and it would therefore mean that I'd have only two video cards and nothing else unless someone intelligent can add.

yes its possible. just create 2 partitions. Install xp first then vista. Crysis plays better on windows xp.

I run both xp,s on a 320 gig 7200 rpm 16 meg cache WD and vista is on a smaller partition on a 250 gig wd 16 meg cache. truth be told it really don't matter. As long as each os has its own NTFS partition you will be just fine.
