haha sorry I already have a buyer lined up for all my old parts. I've decided to either buy a q6600 or an e8500 sometime in the next week and watercool, I'm not sure which will be better though, I'm leaning towards the e8500 right now.

Athlon X2 4200+ 2.2GHz @ 2.35GHz <---lol
2x1GB Crucial Rendition DDR2 667MHz @ 720MHz 5-5-5-15
BFG 8800GT 625/1566/900 @ 725/1816/1000
Gigabyte GA=M61PME-S2
Seagate 500GB 7200rpm 32mb cache
WD 300GB 7200rpm 16mb cache

But due to it not being a supported CPU in bios you will need to do this manually your self. Every last setting will need to be set your self and that's volts, timings, ratios.

I've been reading this thread and scaring myself to I too want to upgrade to a X4 9950 Black CPU but I'm not sure about the Bios settings. I am currently running the X3 8750 CPU on an Asus M3 MVP board. How do I know if my board's bios will support the 9950?

BTW, I'm new to building and in no way, I'm "Very Skilled".

Any help is very appreciated.
