I have a new AMD3 motherboard, Gigabyte MA-785GMT-U2DH. The USB connectors on the motherboard are arranged this way...

xxxxx
xxxx

The USB cables from the front of my case are only four-pin. Can I just stick them into the one row? The cable from the back of my case (an installed USB header) DOES have the arrangement as seen above, so no problem there.

that superfluous pin on the right is a ground. you can safely ignore it and use both. use pins 1 through 8, ignore 9

So, to follow up, and to make sure I have this straight...if I have two four-pin USB cable connectors from the front of my case, I COULD put one in the first row of the M/B USB connector (USB1) and the other one in the second row? Or, I could just put one in either row of this connector (USB1) and the other one in either row of the next USB connector (USB2)?
