The new A-5800K is really looking nice. But I think I got myself confused about a few things concerning the A-series.
APU Spec
Model
A10-5800K
Radeon Brand
HD7660D
CPU Clock speed
3,8/4,2
Cores
4
1: Can the GPU that is inside the APU be sort of cossfired with another graphic card?
2: If yes. Can it be crossfired with any HD 7000 Series or does it have to be a HD
7660 related graphic card? (Was thinking about using a 7970)
3: How much of a bonus + would be to have an APU combined with a GPU / is it worth it?
4: Properly the most stupid question. I know that Crossfire is most commonly setup by linking two graphic cards together with a crossfire cable. But this APU-GPU combo (If its even possible) makes me wonder if the mother board take care of that.
5: Last but not least. Anyone knows if there will be a motherboard with FM2 socket that is build and meant for gaming and not media center
2. this A10 can only be crossfired with specific video cards and I don't think the 7970 is one of them.
3. Could't tell ya
4. no cables needed.
