It's a long sad expensive story, but for those of you wondering. I have an a7n8x mb with a 3200 cpu. I wanted to use all the assets of the board, so I got 2 kingston VR 512 ddr 400. well I got a bad batch, frustrated I wanted to exchange for something I new would work. I wanted the corsair ddr 400 llpt pro. I got screwed by the dealler and ended up with ddr400 c2 pro which according to corsair only has a 2.5cl when used with an amd. Well i player a bit and the spd on the memory is 2.5,3,3,8 with a fsb of 200mhz. If you crank the mem voltage upto 2.8v you get a very stable 2.2.3.6 out of the memory running dual channel, and with my setup is actually very stable at a 206 fsb, tested fully with memtest 86 on 5 passes. Just thought I'ld let everyone know... I'm still curiouse what the corsair llpt pro would have done
