im getting really scared... like will i wake up one day in 6mos and be getting 15fps on a new game!!?? i havent even seen games with better graphics than '03, save doom.

I guess my score's a whopping 0. It installed, but won't run, it says my pixel shader failed, makes sence as my 9000 is a PS 1.4, not a 2.0.
Meh, still, it gets the job done.

wel its taking me nearly 3hours...LOL ! all servers are very busyat the moment. I have 200B of it dowloaded at the moment.

that would be cool if it actually said,
0 3DMarks
and then the devil came on the screen, laughed with a bellowing tone, and then your monitor exploded.
leaving you blind.
so that fps would not matter. youd try to start sound card rankings.

300kb/sec sounds about right for a high-quality cable connection.

I am confussed now ....LOL , so do you mean that you have a high quality 512K connection like me (i think) unless my ISP lie there bollox off.. So in the box where it bring up your downlaod status does it say downloading at 30.0 or 40.0 and so on ?? ro does it say 300.0 or 400.0 ??
Cos mine only ranges from about 00.0 to about 56.0-60.0kb/s , Would that be the same for you ??

Sounds like a 3.0mb (mega-bit) or higher connection to me.

WOW ! I would love one of those. So fast.so it downlaods like .3 of a MB in a sec so to download 1mb it would take technically 3 seconds ?

In theory, yes. Doesn't always hit it's peak speed. For example, I have a 1.5mb DSL connection and I'm happy if I can get 1mb/sec out of it. A lot of things affect the speed.

to that ^^^^^^^^ how do you check individual scores? id like to see what it is taking me down.
im actually using the college network, which pcpitstop rates at 5mb down, 3.5mb up. and that was at night (when everyone was using it).
ie downloads usually go like 200 if im lucky. im really surprised you get that high though silk. it really shines on suprnova/bittorrent. ive had well over 1mb/s and ive only been using this for a while.
i have more experience with my one at home though: 2mb down, 128kb up: id usually get like 150 or so on ie downloads, as high as 250 on bittorrent
