I've got the same motherboard (au31). I'm currently running 512MBx2 Kingston ValueRam (DDR400) and I've not had problems with it. When I switch on the system, the memory is reported as running at DDR400 speeds. I'd love to find a fuller bios for this board, but I'm afraid that I'll need to get a whole new board and processor instead.
