I am getting the MSI 6800GT PCIe Card from $300 from Zip Zoom Fly:

http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/...etai...ductCode=321924' ">http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/...jsp?ProductCode=321924

and I am getting the MSI 7800GT PCIe Card for $348 (after the Mail In Rebate).....

is the 7800GT worth the extra $50 ??

7800gt has newer tech and 4 more pipes than the 6800gt (20 as opposed to 16).

and the newer techd oes make a difference, the HDR on the 7000 series makes games look so much nicer lighting wise.

7800GT will rape a 6800GT so it is absolutely worth the extra 50 bucks, you will regret buying that 6800GT over a 7800GT, trust me on this one /happy.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='happy.gif' />

Really, I'm an ATi man, but I'll give you this, that 7800GT will murder, massacre the 6800GT. If you're getting the 7800GT for $348, then it is definitely worth it. I would think about it if it was actually a $100 diff, but it isn't.
