i have a coolermaster cavalier and it is REALLY REALLY good, it also has a 120 MM exhaust fan if u don't want the one with a 350Watt PSU u can get a case without one i have this case with the 350 watt PSU on a 2400+ AXP and dual Hardrives and dual CD drives, a 9700pro, an asrock K7S8XE, and a firewire and soundcard and 512mb of ram and the PSU seems to be doing well this case lowered my full load temps from 55C to 45 C and it is amazing quality the coolermaster centurion is also good http://www.newegg.com/app/View...esc....-119-057&depa=1' ">http://www.newegg.com/app/View...tion=11-119-057&depa=1 i have the black one http://www.newegg.com/app/View...esc....-119-065&depa=1' ">http://www.newegg.com/app/View...tion=11-119-065&depa=1

Yeah, and there is a tasteful window available at time of purchase with it (however, not after the fact). So this is my vote for the Cavalier to fit those specs and price range. Great looking, great quality, it's adaptable (door can be configured to open from either side), and well, it's a Cooler Master.

Well, the Cavalier is just a steel case, which is cheaper and can be more easily molded into the shape that it is. But also, Lian-Li or Antec never got good style down like Cooler Master did. I mean, Antecs are pretty boring since they're the template for the archetypal computer case, and Lian-Li look clean, but nothing more than that. No sumptuous curves, specially painted surfaces, etc.

Thermaltake Soprano' ">http://www.newegg.com/app/View...tion=11-133-145&depa=1 rather tasteful for a thermaltake... the antec super lanboy has 120s front and rear, but is such a small case, it's hard for me to recommend it...

That Soprano is actually not bad looking for a Thermaltake. I typically don't like TT, but it looks like they almost copied the Coolermaster Wavemaster. The Coolermaster Centruion 5 is kind of a cool case. Has the mesh front that allows for good ventilation.

Thats what i'm thinking too. Or you should have ordered one last week when shipping for every case that newegg carries was only .99 cents. For you it would have been .99 cents plus the fee for Hawaii and Alaska though.

Hawaii must have a computer store somewhere on one of those islands... ya i guess id do that, but problem with that is there are not many choices...and expensive ive seen a thermaltake tsunami at this local computer store for 179... newegg is only 110..plus 50 for shipping its still cheaper.... does ZZf has free 2nd day for cases??

QUOTE (misopeenut @ Apr 10 2005, 10:25 PM) does ZZf has free 2nd day for cases?? no, cases and other large items like monitors have shipping charges...which is odd if you think about it...I ordered $500 worth of stuff from ZZF, all with free shipping, which they then pack into a box which weighs nearly as much, if not more than an aluminum case like the Antec Super Lanboy....
but, that's the joy of ZZF
Miso, there's a price to be paid for living in Hawaii I know that doesn't help, but if it's any consolation, if you do order from Newegg, at least you won't have to pay state sales tax...
