i have a gigabyte ga-k8ns ultra 939 board. it comes with 2 sata controlers. one is a silicon image and the other one is nvidia. which one would be better to use?

Usually their labeled 1 through 4 5-8 or however many. But NVIDIA's will be the primary controller. So plug it into that one.
