i have a gigabyte ga-k8ns ultra 939 board. it comes with 2 sata controlers. one is a silicon image and the other one is nvidia. which one would be better to use?

Usually their labeled 1 through 4 5-8 or however many. But NVIDIA's will be the primary controller. So plug it into that one.

Opie and Anthony on XM Satelite Radio!

Now also on FM stations in NYC, Boston, Philly, Pittsburgh, Washington DC, Rochester, Columbus OH, Cleveland, Detroit, West Palm Beach, Dallas, Chicago, San Fran and some other cities, their pretty much nationwide now, google it.

nVIDIA is SATAII, silicon image is SATA.
