Hi All,

I have been wanting to go for an upgrade for a while and now have some green to think of doing so.

I am not a hardcore gamer, but for the rare doom or half-life. I am more often than not compiling some code and multitasking. This is the spec I am thinking of and I am constrained by a tight budget(<500$.

AMD Athlon 64 3200+ (Winchester)
MSI RS480M2-IL
Corsair 1GB ValueKit (Latency=2.5)
Seagate 7200.7 SATA 80GB.

I am going with the RS480 as it comes with onboard graphics and saves me some money there. I have heard mainly good stuff abt this mobo and a few not so good reviews.

What do you all suggest? Should I change anything in this configuration? I would like to have a PCI-E supported mobo(in future, maybe I can affort a better graphics card).

Thanks
