I know ive talked about this rig before but can anyone here tell me how much all this stuff would be worth currently?

2 x 19inch Mitsubishi CRTs
1 x Sony Trinitron high res pal/ntsc video preview monitor
2 x Avid IS23 Media Shuttle (big old 23 gig external scsi made for avid)
12 socket clean power rack mounted power strip
Avid Media Composer Keyboard
Video Slave Driver (digitizes the video)
Audio Interfacer (interfaces sound board with computer)
Big old sony 8 channel audio mixer
Big old heavy studio speaker
All together with Avid software making an Avid Media Composer 9000

i know some of these things are a little unclear but can anyone gimme a rough estimate?

Dude, that's gonna cost sooo much. Are you going to buy any betacam or dvcam decks to go along with it? How much are you willing to spend? That's going to be at least 5 figures.

haha well the good thing is, just got it all setup in the basement yesterday, prolly takes up like half the power of the house and like half the room but yea, As for a betacam? [content edited] no way too expensive, and i really got no need for one. I mean i dont know how much im gonna be using the thing but currently in terms of cameras i got a sony DCR-PC3 and ill use the rca outs to hook it up, only downside is you can only get mono audio using the rca. but dude this is definately worth more than 300 bucks cmanns, your insane man

are you gonna do really pro stuff cause if that's the case just go and buy a flame or inferno rig it's gonna be 10 times better and you won't have to worry bout specs, of course you'll have to worry about your wallet

the weak link there is the powermac 9600, but then again, I don't know how old the AVID stuff is in relation to the Mac...

the monitors alone are probably sellable for $500...the powermac is worth less than $100

have you looked around ebay to see what similar items are selling for??

well i mean i got this all for free so i cant complain but i think ill be using it occasionally for some school video projects or just to mess around. The equipment is all decently old but back in its day, 5 or so years ago, this system was top of the line and insanely expensive. I found out that the computer which your correct does sell for about 100$ now, used to sell for 5000 when it came out.
