I'm new to the forum and need some advice on upgrading the above mentioned PC. Has 760 mb ram and a 15 gb hard drive.

Need a little more umph to the speed. Will extra ram help me and I have 5 gb left on the hard drive.

What is the cost to upgrade and is it worthwhile?

Thanks,

Welcome,

It mostly depends on what you use the computer for, and how much money you want to spend making it better. You could get an 80gb hard drive for about $60, and if you want to use the computer for lite gaming you could get a cheap videocard like a 9600xt for about $40-60.
