actually their products are very good
the Envision X9 (19' has good review and pretty cheap for buying
few stores sale envision products, and this company is not well known in the market

and actually, Envision is also called the EPI
I've owned two of the envision LCD, one for my dad, one is mine

Anyone know how long its warranty is?

I've heard nothing but good things about Sceptre LCDs...and they also make some screens for other "manufacturers" out there, like Hyundai and AOC. As for warranty, I'm unsure, but it's an awsome company in itself.

I think I'm going to order this one tomorrow:

Any final opinions or suggestions? Not too late to change it now, but after tomorrow it will be.

that's a neat looking monitor, but I've never seen a video card with a USB 2.0 connection.

I've run across another one which I like:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/...asp?...N82E16824116008

Opinions on this one?

I like this one more because its got a higher resolution at a not too outrageous price. Also its a 4:3 aspect ratio, not that 5:4 1280x1024 crap which messes everything up when running at lower resolutions.

nice choice. although ViewSonic could have done better with the contrast ratio and possibly the viewing angle.

I just got an AOC 193FWk 19" widescreen at Officemax for $170. AOC is part of Envision. Has both DVI & standard cables included. Extremely bright & wide viewing angle- very even lighting and no dead pixels. No internal speakers, wall hangable, only 34 watts, energystar.

What I really like is the extra screen real estate- very easy to have non-overlapping multiple windows open at 1440x900, and still see your Desktop folders.

Looks good to me Zozio, enjoy your monitor.

Specifically about LCDs, just like CRTs their are a limited supply of makers out there, more LCD makers than CRT makers for sure but Samsung, Top Victory Electronics and a handful of others are the big players in the market. Top Victory Electronics for example, the second largest or largest CRT maker, and probably second largest LCD maker, owns Envision Peripherals Incorp., which is AOC, Envision and a few others.

Maybe you should get 50 Apple Cinema displays and do this

I wonder how much that costed to do, think how much power it must take to do all the insane stuff!!

I just recieved the monitor and from what I've seen of it thus far I absolutely love it. Its HUGE!!! I did notice that it has one stuck pixel (red), however it doesn't bother me as its on the bottomost row of pixels .
