But going by the average speed he's only #12 on the RAID 0 score chart, Burst SPEED is pretty much meaningless IMO.

Hmmmm just noticed the top RAID 0 scores are all running AMD's.

Is there an HD Tach thats for Mac? I want to try it since I've got two different RAID Setups along with 2 other HDs and I can't test them with HD Tach since it's for Windows..

I feel special, all my other benchmarks are never near the top three, finally I'm in there because of my Hard Drive xD!!!

Thank you am2 gainward for solid links, I appreciate it.

Mr.Wicked 1968 perhaps you should try reading the title of the post before giving advice on the rest of the non-motherboard items. Thanks for nothing.

Chris,

Anyone else find it weird the pattern that mine follows? It starts off low, then goes up; drops again, then goes up; then drops again, goes up; then gradually goes down.

depending on how many drives are in the array, i would say that one or two are better than the others.

All those are 10K RPM drives, well nice score, added you to the score chart, you've taken pole position in the single drive category!
