Thinking about getting one of these cases: P-180 Lian Li PC-6070APLUSI was wondering your opinions on them. Masashi

as much as I think the Lian Li is overpriced, if you are absolutely set on one of those two, I'd take the Lian Li. Primarily because it has a removeable motherboard tray. Plus, there were quite a few reviews about the Antec stating the door came warped.

That Lian Li looks purrrrrrrrrdy, but also looks like a mother to try and work inside.

Personally, I don't really like either of them, especially for the prices. These 2 are my favorite cases: http://www.newegg.com/Product/...asp?...N82E16811133154http://www.newegg.com/Product/...asp?...N82E16811119039But if it has to be between those 2 you linked to. I say Lian Li.

But the motherboard is also mounted upside down I thought, so wouldn't it be the same distance?

Don't know, but it is better to know this before you pick your PSU if you have this case or plan to get one. You will find this information if you google or look to review on newegg. Some complaine that hey had to stretch cable to get where the connection should be.

i believe this issue was resolved. ncix.com said they got replacement doors for P-180 and if anyone bought it and it was warped, they get a free replacement door sent to them, courtesy of Antec. I think it was a problem in their manufacturing line that quality control missed.

The only problem with getting the p180 is that my powercord is too short so I need the extender...which I cant find... Wicked - I dont mess around with my parts constantly so a removeable motherboard tray really isnt a concern. Bp1019 - I dont really like lights or alot of plastic on my cases. I like clean cases the most. Masashi

I didn't because I really don't care what the Antec case is like. I just assumed that a case designer would think about what he was doing before making certain PSUs incompatible because the case mounted the PSU on the bottom but didn't flip the mobo too. I just got an Aerocool Masstige that has the PSU on the bottom also, but, they were smart enough to make the mobo mount upside down so any PSU will work in it. Just seems to me that a case costing that much would be engineered a bit better. EDIT: Its cool Masashi, I was just giving other options. But you know, you can swap the LED fans for regular fans and still have a good case with no lights. Just throwing it out there. I stand by my Lian Li recommendation though, I think it will be a much better case. Might want to check out Silverstone cases too, they looked pretty nice and seem to have alot of features. www.xoxide.com has quite a few of them.

Yeah I was looking at the silverstones but they're way too expensive.
