Ello all, im look'n to build a gaming machine and I came across this mobo
(MSI K9N Diamond Socket AM2 NVIDIA nForce 590 SLI MCP ATX ), I like it, im just wondering if thiers anything else i should know.

My build is as follows:
- XFX PVT71JYHE9 GeForce 7950GT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP ExTreme Edition Video Card

- AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ Windsor 2.6GHz Socket AM2

-OCZ Platinum Revision 2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory

-2x160 Seagate HDD RAID 0

Ok let's see.....

For the videocard, unless you really really really like nVidia, I would get an X1950XT instead. It's like the same price, and performs better. If you really really do want nVidia though, I would look into a cheaper 7950GT. That's ones pretty overpriced compaired to the rest of them.

Good on the CPU.

For the RAM...is that....2 2GB packs? Making 4GB? If so that's pretty much overkill right now....2GB is fine. If it is just 2GB though, that'll be good.

For the HDD's...I would recommend a single Raptor over two drives in RAID 0. RAID's not all it's cracked up to be, from what I've heard. You'd probably benefit more from a 10,000 rpm WD Raptor. Then if that's not enough space, you could add on a storage drive.

As for the board itself....I would go with Epox or Gigabyte or something. Have been hearing so so things about MSI lately...

kk thankz, lol no not 4 gig's of ram its 2 1gb sticks, ive been dooing some searching, how about
