So now its time to pick out a case and PSU. I was thinking of something like this:
http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=13954 ($50 after pricematch)
http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=23507 ($73 after pricematch)
All opinions and suggestions are welcome.

Both good as far as I'm concerned Case I'd switch just cause I don't care a whole lot for the look of the centurions but that's your choice so yea, but the PSU looks decent/good.

Pretty good PSU, its Silverstone counterpart did very well in Jonny Guru's review. As for the case...There isn't too much you can mess up with an aluminum/steel box, other than lack of fan mounts maybe.

Yet the Enhance 5150GH is a better psu, for half as much money. How does TigerDirect do it?

Easy, Tigerdirect and Ultra are sister companies. They are both part of Systemax.

The new XVS units are very good units. IIRC they are Andyson- made server-quality units.

I got the enhance 500w PSU and the centurion 5 case. Unfortunately the centurion 5 case went out of stock after i ordered it so I won't get that for a while. I got the PSU yesterday. I'm currently installing xp so I might be able to get some benchies to you tonight.

Try these:-
Case, Akasa Zen
PSU Tagan 580W Silent 2 Force.
Since I bought the former, which has two 12cm Fans front and rear, the pc has ticked along really well.
Also, there is a duct which takes air in to cool the CPU, by 4 degrees C.
Soon I shall be upgrading the PSU to a Tagan 700W Dual Transformer PSU.
At present both the Zen looks like being a shrewd move.

as long as Tagan continues to use topower internals, I wouldn't buy one. the 500w enhance Zozio bought has much better internals

It's the efficiency. Topower hasn't been making them as efficient as they used to.

I'm not being sarcastic at all. take a look at this page of jonnyguru's review of the 530w Tagan easycon modular PSU.
Page 2
The voltage regulation on the 12V rail was horrible, dropping from 12V to 11.59V going from test one to four on the 12V2. The 12V1 faired a little better, only dropping to 11.62V, but that was primarily because there was less resistance on the 12V1 (more connectors to spread the load across.)
Once I pushed a 12V rail past 20A, the power supply shut off and the blue LED on the back lit up. It was time to test the "combine rail" switch. I flipped the switch and proceeded to put 25A load on the 12V1 connectors and 8A on what would be the 12V2 connector via the 8-pin EPS+12V connector. Obviously, combining the two 12V rails worked, although voltage certainly wasn't improved any. Later, we'll take a look at how the switch works.
Efficiency was mediocre and there is no power factor correction on this power supply.
while the above review is a bit old, recent topower based psu's haven't performed much better.

O my bad, I coulda swore I quoted myocardia's last post. Just to make sure I'm on the right page though, the Ultra has Topower insides? Cause I probably woulda thought about the Ultra case and PSU for $140 like EA said. Well, probably not cause I don't check TD.
