Alright! Theres actually a computer in my house that qualifies as a workstation! So heres what it has:

Motherboard: ASUS A7pro 29c idle, 35c full load

CPU: Athlon 1100 47c idle, 52c full load (Too freakin' hot I say)

Video Card: Ati Xpert 1999, 32mb (I think it's something along those lines)

Sound card: SB Live!

Speakers: 2 speakers w/ sub

Monitor: 21" Visual sensations thingy

Memory: 198mb sd ram (3x 64's one is 133, other two are 100)

CPU heatsink: thermaltake volcano 7+

Case Fans: Front: a weener one that probably pushes no more than 15cfm
Back: Vantec stealth 80mm (Er, slightly modified to point towards the cpu to push air into the power source fan)

Power Source: Best power 420w dual fan

Input devices: One Logitech Keyboard, and a Logitech cordless mouse (Battery has lasted so far 2 years) And a sony microphone

Optical Drive: CD/DVD combo Dirve

Hard Drive: Maxtor 15gb HDD

Programs: Open Office (YEAH! WORTH EVERY PENNYY, ie. $0.00) Paint Shop Pro (Don't care what people say on how adobe is better, it costs 7 times as much!! PsP is Awesome), Punch! Pro Platinum, Mozilla FireFox, Adobe Acrobat, The Rosetta stone: Spanish

whadda think? I think those sticks of ram have something to do with the instability of the system, as well as the temp of the cpu which can be rectified with air flow I'm sure (Or Voltage tweaking)

I think your PSU fan should blow the air OUT, not IN. I'd definetely get 256 megs of RAM in a single stick if you can find it for cheap. 64 mb sticks are obsolete.
