Hello all I have a few questions on which type of system to build. My honey needs something that will run Adobe photoshop CS and Illustrator CS.We have a sony system now with a P4 and 1gig of pc3200 DDR and as far as i am concerned it's not doing a very good job.I am not a very big fan of Intel to begin with and we have had enough of all the problems with this setup. I would like to know what setup would be better the single or the duel.We need something that can run both programs at the same time, (She does alot of editing on the fly).I will list the parts i do have and would love some input on what else to get:

HDD Raptor 10.000 Rpm
VC Ati 9800pro 128meg

This is all I have right now so please feel free to make suggestions

The answer is simple go with the dual opteron it is better for multithreaded applications or
if you run 2 of them in the same time , the processing load is distributed on the two cpus and system is more responsive .
