hey all,

Yesterday I placed in my orders for the following ship:

- Dual-Opterons 246
- Asus K8N-DL
- X850
- Two WD Raptor 80 GB 10000 RPM 8 MB cache SATA in RAID

That leaves me with RAM...I had decided on Four Corsair TWINXP512 3200XL RAM (dual-channel per CPU) till closer look at the mobo specs revealed Reg. ECC RAM requirements!

Any1 bought a few recently? What timings are available? Who's shop got the best one? Where i m at Kingston rulz the market...

Wud appreciate advise...thoughts...cheers!

why dont you get 4 of these and put that memory controller to work?

4 gigs for 700 or so is not bad... and mushkin is awesome stuff.
