I have a brand new HP G60 notebook with an AMD Turion Dual-Core RM-70 64-Bit processor in it. I was kind of interested in the overclocking capabilities of this processor. What would be a reasonable overclock? Thank you guys for the help!

Here are some specs:

Model: Hewlett-Packard G60 Notebook
Processor: AMD Turion Dual-Core RM-70 2.00GHz 64-bit
RAM: 3.00 GB DDR2
OS: Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit SP1
HDD: 150 GB SATA
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 8200M G

Let me know if you need any information. Thank you

Do you know how to overclock a laptop. If so, post how you are going to do it.
Hp notebooks run really really really hot. My igp ran at 86 C on load.
Post some on your temps that your getting.

Well I was just curious of the capabilities. I am going to wait until my warranty runs out before I do anything. Also what program should I use to get my temps?

I wouldn't OC a laptop for anything, unless you absolutly can afford to replace it.

Just remember to clean the laptop to keep it cooler. Even take it apart to clean the dust. You be suprised how much dust acculimianates in a month,
