DarkMatterInd Newbie Posts: 4 Joined: 01/28/2010	Everyone knows RAID 0 & 1, there even configed 01 or 10, but i want the TRINITY! 0 + 1 + 6. RAID 6 (striped disks with dual parity) combines four or more disks in a way that protects data against loss of any two disks more at RAID 6 ------------------------- "Dark Matter, The Power to Game, & Game Hard!"

(The answer is in your Wikipedia page on RAID6- see "Nested RAID Levels.") You generally need an expensive controller and software RAID like Linux md RAID to accomplish the feat, though. -------------------------
