Ive been trying to get a 4ghz overclock on my 1090T stable but even at 1.5v my computer crashes after 10 minutes of running Prime95. I was thinking of overclocking northbridge speed/voltage to see if it'll help with stability, however im not really sure how much to overclock it by. Advice would be really appreciated.

Overclocking the CPU/NB frequency ties in with your memory speed, not so much the CPU overclock.

This is straight from G.Skill techies:
1600 memory: 2400-2600MHz
1866 memory: 2800MHz
2000-2133 memory: 3000MHz

If you're running 8GB or more, more CPU/NB voltage is usually required.

All you really need for CPU/NB voltage is 1.25-1.35v.

I have gone as high as 1.40v, but it has little effect on a CPU/NB overclock.
