i feel it would be of great advantage to me to start learning to overclock, i want to start with my cpu (phenom 2 x4 3.4ghz black edition). the problem is... i have a general idea of what to do and how to do it, but i need help doing it RIGHT, not just, what should work. i dont want my cpu ruind because somthing SHOULD have worked. i understand there is always danger involved in doing this and this is why im hoping to get some indepth help on how to do it safely.

also... AMD Overdrive USED to work for me, i got a newer version, it now says "AMD Overdrive Faild to start!"
if anyone knows how to deal with this id appreciate it

ok so i fixed the problem with overdrive. i had to go into bios and set all the AMD Processor settings to enabled. so virtualization and anything else, i just flipped on and now it works... still need help learning to safely overclock though
