I heard for Soft-mod of BIOS in GF6800GT to 6800ULTRA for long.
I ave few question before I do it.

1) Can my Inno3D's GF 6800 GT can do this mod?
2) If failed, or Unstable, Can it be reversed?
3) Where I can find the default BIOS and the 6800Ultra BIOS for that sort of thing?

What exactly will a mod like this do?

I was under the impression that the 6800gt has all 16 pipelines already unlocked.

The only thing I could imagine would be setting the core and memory frequencies to that of an ultra, but why not just oc? It would be much safer.

I have just got into flashing bios's so don't tear me a new one if my questions are dumb.

Also how do I go about getting into the bios of my video card, I alos have a 6800gt, but mine is the BFG version.

Modding to Ultra BIOS can in crease the OC potential, too.
Rather than just doing OC.
Performance Comparason by desending order:

BIOS Mod + OC > BIOS Mod alone> OC alone
