Well the home theatre is coming along got board mounted in wall alon with hard disk in back with power supply. Tinted glass coming for wall just need to mount DVD under mobo.

Question is is normal windows xp ok or should I get media center. Is there a big difference? And would like a slot type DVD for feeding it into wall ny ideas there that are not laptop drives?

i will suggest u to go for media center ......u get a lot of more option with that.....there is also a remote support......don't know much about it but most of the people using media center edition....
