Hi, Looking for some help.

I have managed to overclock my 4600+ CPU and got it running at 2850Mhz no problem, also upped my video card no problem. System is very stable.

I have however not touched the memory settings at all and have to admit I do not really understand what I should change.

Any help would be appreciated.

My system runs cool enough now, with cpu and video overclocked the max temp I get on PCmark 06 is 48 degrees c

Is it stable ? Can you run twin Prime95 (one one each core simultaneously maxing out CPU to 100% in TaskManager) for 8 hours without error ? What's your temps under these conditions ?
(for game playing you probably don't need this kind of stability but you never know)

I have the same question as the person above me: is it stable?
My 4600+ can reach 2800Mhz, but only stable with a vcore of 1.55. As you can imagine this generates a lot of heat, so i usually don't run at those speeds. It could be that you have an overclocking monster, but it might as well crash as soon as you try to run a program.

It seems stable to me but I am no expert, I may well try to run the test that you suggest.

I have run many applications without crashing including playing battlefield 2142 for about four hours solid. The pc has been on solid for a week no problem.

The Vcore is at 1.45v with the idle on the cpu temperature about 31degrees c.

The cpu temp never goes above 49 degrees, it did go up to 58 degrees but fitting the asus silent square and an extra fan took care of that.

What about my memory, how do I change that for best results?

Just to be sure, you should run two instances of Prime95 like thespin said also. That way you can test if the cpu and memory are really stable at those speeds.
And about your memory, at what timings can it run? It's usually shown on the sticker, something like 3-3-3-7.
