i wish to place a probe on my AMD 64 3700 cpu which will be water cooled but i want to know how best to do it if you can help me that would be great pictures would be nice of you can cause they speak louder than words with me. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blink:" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

You could place a temperature probe at the side of the heatspreader. I don't know if the readings will be reliable, but i'm afraid that there is no other option since there is no room.

thank you after much searching i can see that now perhaps i cam monitor something else

The Digidoc is old and can be fully replaced with software utilitiies like speedfan. In fact, the monitoring of SpeedFan will be more reliable since it uses the internal temperature sensor of the cpu.
Those Digidoc's are still from the PIII and Athlon Thunderbird era where cpu's and motherboard often did not have temperature sensors.
