I have a skt939 3000+, and I can't get it to overclock. Even if I set it to 1.89GHz, it screws up on me, and I have to restart.
I have it in a DFI Lanparty RDX200 CF-DR motherboard, with 1GB (2 x 512MB) of Geil DDR400 CAS 2.5 RAM. Cooling wise, I have a Zalman cooler (not sure of the name), but it has a 92mm fan, and is aluminium with a copper strip accross it. EDIT: You can see it in my sig.
I want to try to get it up to 2.2GHz at least. I know the cooler can take it, because it was on a 3GHz Presscott @ 3.3 before I got the Athlon.....

From what I hear, DFI boards offer lots of OC options, and so can be tough to set up right. You might want to try DFI-Street.

Are you sure you have lowered the speed of the ram? I had to do it with my Asus board and now it o/c's fine!

Look for memory settings in the BIOS and change it from 200MHz to 183MHz(if this is an option! or 166MHz and then try o/clocking!
