I was wondering i have my computer overclocked at 2.75ghz (250*11) and while i was trying to get it higher to about 2.8-2.9 i found it went slower is this becasuse i lower the ht to 3 so hypertransport wasnt as big or is it another reason all together?


Ps: should i go even higher on the overclocking or stay put.

What was your CPU temperature like at the time?
& what were your memory setting?

FYI your CPU will benifit from quality memory if you are using a "no name" brand

Also, your PSU seems a little small. Please post details of your PSU as it could also be responsible.

My temps are at 34 idle and 45 on full load
Im going to a 1 gb stick to go with my hyndai 256 and both will be at pc3200 so ram is ok
My psu though is 350w from icute dont know who they are but it came with the case
At the moment my 12v is at 11.9v my 5v at 4.92 and 3.3 at 3.36

soz about double post but ty ill put an other problems in troubleshooting
