finally finished cutting out all my window pieces so i can do what i wanted to do with my current rig . the flame engraving is going to the 3rd layer and some more artwork on the second the 1st piece will be blank then ill go about makeing the engravings glow by attaching blue leds the hole way round then use some metallic tape tap up the edgess so the light only has one way out to travel and hopefully thats through the acrlyic then out through the engravings in plan

just picked up a crosshair 5 board and will be picking up a fx 8120 next week .ill be putting my 16 gig g-skill 1866mhz ram and powercolor 6970 in this built .i also plan on getting 2 patriot 120g sata3 ssd wildfire sereis for my operaing system and 2 3tb wd hdd for mass storage as i use my pc for everything lol.as for the cooling ill be running a dual loop liquid cooling system using 2 swiftech varaible pumps,2x240mm rads (plus my 120mmrad i already have )and on frozencpu.com they have a dual melix res and a reactor res havent decieded witch 1 yet .as for the fans ill be using the red vegas glow evermax fans 120mm 8 in total and a 140mm evermax on the side .

p.s does anyone know if i can splice the fans light control so i only have one switch to control all the fans

Sounds great!! Everything about this build sounds dead-on!!! Look forward to you final product and some benchies!!

Do you mean, just controlling the fan's lights? You should be able to, but as I have not attempted anything like that I cannot say for sure.

cheers canis .personally i wish it was finished already and yeah i was talking about the lights on the fans ill just have do it and pray for the best but i cant see why it wont work . i cant wait to o.c and bench it either at least this way ill be able to give it a real world test in a hot enviroment and see if there is any improvement over the thuban sereis chips .as soon as its built and overclocked to a stable 5ghz ill run some benchs and post it all in your benching posts
thought id throw the board in to see how it all looks.
