I stayed up last night until early hours of the morning making some changes to this system, so here are the results.



I also made some slight modifications to the Northbridge cooling...

what are the rubberbands for? looks ok to me..

I think I got a dodgy hard drive, it seems to vibrate more than it should.

That's why the rubber bands are there.

I love the green lite just shoved into the thing too.. wires all hanging infront of the HSF and all , must get hot ..

I lapped it myself a few weeks ago, it's mirror reflective now.

No, mine is the Thermaltake Volcano 12, for K7 (Socket A).

The Venus is the same heatsink, but it is for K8 (Athlon 64).

yeah I had a venus it died tho like after 2 days but while I had it my CPU ran at 20c and thats the 3000+... I was able to get it to 2.6GHz.. and keep it on low settings idle pretty nice fan
