In an attempt to cool my RAM down (they run hot), I made a getto mod using the stock A64 cooler fan and an old metal plate from a PCI sound card. It works well! The RAM is pretty much cold to the touch, where before it was very hot. I can probably stick some more voltage the RAM now and hopefully keep tight timings with higher clocks. What I wanna know is what solutions are available for RAM cooling? What does everyone else do? Getto mods rock.

you cab buy alumiun and copper heatsinks which come with good expensive ram like the ocz and the cosiar

Wouldn't I need to remove the heat spreaders to do this? I think it voids the warranty of my Ballistix.

I don't mind the getto cooler, but could do with a quieter fan. This is the one from the stock A64 HS/F which is a bit whiny at high RPM's. Also, the Neon Crab thing gets bad reviews!
