QUOTE (shards_of_glass @ Mar 1 2005, 10:05 PM) That stuffs saw dust poisonious right ? DOn't try too hard to make a "killer" system. Now that you said that, I have not noticed any dust attaction. It's also 70% humidity here, and static build up is not a problem. I also clean the surface with a anti-static acrylic spray, so no dust problems. Finger prints show up though, but just wipe off. As far as making a killer system....the final specs for Version 2.0, which I will taking to QuakeCon: AMD Athlon 64 FX-57 (I hope) ATI Radeon X850 XT 512MB PCI-Express Card !!!!! ----- http://www.zapwizard.com/Projects/Wood/x850/' ">http://www.zapwizard.com/Projects/Wood/x850/ ATI Radeon Express 200 Chipset Shuttle 1GB Kinston HyperX DDR533 Slim-Line Slot-Load Dual Layer 8X DVD Burner Watercooled with 120mm Radiator And more... ------------------------------------ /Edit I read that wrong... I don't suppose that the dust off the envirotex lite if very good for you. I use a dust mask when cutting just about anything, just good practice.

No, about four cards were given out, I think. They gave away a custom PC with one inside, and I think a few as prizes, but those may have been AGP cards.

The machine is a beauty Zap... a truly wonderful piece of work!
The wood was almost too perfect with that Envirotex! I was wondering how you did that!
Nice, nice piece of work! Keep it up! I'm looking forward to QC2K5 as well!

As stated this is version 1.0, built in time for the ATI Ultimate LAN. Version 2.0 is the complete wood case, and will be done for QuakeCon

QUOTE (AQUATEAM2021 @ Mar 3 2005, 04:41 PM) wow i wish i got a shuttle xps when i had the chance....i thought th psu was weak Don't be fooled by total wattage... Don't buy a 500W powersupply from crap companies because it has 500W when usually thats only its max output, so in general its really like 420W or around there. Shuttle makes very high quality PSUs...
