well a couple weeks ago i broke a couple fins off my vf700 (intoxicants and pc's don't mix)

so i had to swap fans and i went ahead and swaped fans on my 9500 as well. just for kicks i also changed my stacker to a btx stysl just to see if it did anything, mainly to keep the vid. from heating up the cpu.
i was to lazy to take in process picks but here's some of the finished products.

this is the new 80mm fan on my vf700. i believe it's something like 34 cfm. it dropped my load temps by a few degrees over the stock fan.

i had to zip tie one side of the fan because the fan i tore apart only had 3 pieces holding the fan to the outercasing so i could only get 1 screw from the fan bracket in but the zip tie works great(yay for redneck engineering)

next it the 9500 with a new 90cfm 120mm on it

unfortunatly this didn't help my cpu temps as much as i'd hoped maybe a couple degree's. bu it droped the pwm temp by about 10c

and everything back in it's happy little home

i think its rather nice, great cable managment and the ideas for fixing new fans makes them look a little cooler especially the 9500

thnx guys.changing it to btx really helped the cabling sinc i use my psu at the bottom (it lets me have 2 80mm exusts up top that way) my next goal is to get better air flow in. right now the only air coming in is the crossfow fan which doesn't help alot and a 34cfm 120 on the front of the hard drive cage at the bottom. and with 3 drives in the cage not much flow gets in so i'm looking at getting another cage to add another fan in
