The last shots I took were of it before I ran it in SLI (dual 6600GTs), but I never got a chance to take pics of it with the dual cards, and since I just sold one of the 6600GTs, I won't be taking any pics of it.

Anywho, I tore the system down this morning to clean it out and before I did that, I decided to snap a few shots. I'm still getting used to the features of this new camera, and I had to resize the pics (forgot that I had it in 5MP mode), but here they are.

The current specs are in my sig, but in case they aren't easily readable, they are:

A64 3000+ (Winchester)
EP-9NPA+ SLi
HIS X850XT
2*512MB Geil Ultra Platinum
250GB Hitachi 7K250
Antec Super Lanboy
Antec TPII-480

Note that the fans are not the stock 40CFM fans that came with the case, they are 100CFM fans from CompUSA. Great fans and not loud either (32dBA). I also did an close-up of the HSF, it's the stock one from higher-end X2s, dual core Opterons, and the FX-60; picked it up on ebay for $15 shipped. It's a brute that works very well.

Aside from adding maybe a couple of UV CCFLs, I'm not doing any more upgrades until the fall, when the next batches of processors from both companies are out. Then I can make a decision based on real-world performance.

Nice man, very tidy! And I'm not just saying that 'cause I lub you for having 6600GTs in SLi.

I pulled the SLI setup. It got too hot (the top card would go into the upper 80's) which brought system and processor temps up, and really, this X850XT does perform better then the two cards at higher resolutions (my LCD is natively 1280*1024) which is where the 128-bit memory bandwidth of the 6600GTs shows its limitations. I am probably going to keep the remaining 6600GT though. It's not a bad card, and certainly a worthy fallback card.

Not to mention, the only other PCI-E card I have...

That's a practice shot I did. I rotoscoped a shot of Mark Hamil and David Prowse (the actor who physically played Vader) in practice for the choreographed fights. I am a swordfighter myself, having fought for the past 12 years (as of the end of June), and I have been choreographing a few live-steel shows for the past 6 or so years. Anyway, that is just to replace the stock pic on the removable toolbox.

I'm very happy with mine. In every review I've seen, this Epox overclocks to within a few Mhx base clock of DFI boards (real-world overclocks, not the suicide screen garbage). It also has a stock chipset cooler that actually works (the DFI guys complain about that enough, so it's fair game). Also costs significantly less.
