i think im going to put it on it after my comp is already booted and i will watch the temps and see if it helps, if it doesnt ill prolly just scrap it or find a new use for it.

i dont either, just something to pass the time.

but if it was for a purpose i would have to say to drop temps maybe 10c if that, and so the hot air wont go to the cpu and raise.

You wanna drop 10C? Get the Arctic Cooler Silencer, I just got one and now my GPU runs 40C idle and 50C load, it also cooled my chipset by a few degrees. Or just can just risk ruining your card.
