O and your claims of Nvidia being optimized is just another excuse in my book. show me show hard proof that they did this.

lets wait a few days till I have the phenom rig up and running at stable clocks. shooting for 3.2 Ghz. Rumor has it Microsoft plans to release a hotfix for quad cores to enable more evenly spaced threading. Part of there base coding for windows 7.

Well there's nothing shaddy about that?!
Ati tries as well, all these supposed deals that every1 was harping on about a while ago that are supposedly gonna put nvidia on the back foot...

I just remembered that ATI has an ace up their sleeve and I think they are holding on to that when they can get a closer look at the GT200b (55nm) cards and their performance. A cookie goes to the person that can remember what it is.

Here's a helpful hint, it's not a new graphics card, but it's implemented in every 4000 series card and not used at the moment, but only a select few can use it.

The 4850X2 and 4870X2 currently have SidePort disabled at the software level. When enabled this allows for inter-GPU memory bandwidth transfers to gain 5GB/s both ways allowing for a much higher and quicker bandwidth than going over PCIe 2.0 PLX switch or over the Crossfire bands or through the motherboard's PCIe links.

9.1 Catalyst drivers are supposed to be the big performance gains after the 8.12 Stream code goes active, so maybe this is where the performance boost will come from? Then again, it could be pure game optimization, but I do know that the 4000 series and more specifically mid-range to high-end cards are supposed to get a big performance boost in the 9.1 drivers. At least that's the word on the streets.
