if i buy hard copy of half-life 2...no access to credit card will i still get counter-strike:source

ya you will even because you don't even have to install it from the CD/DVD when you buy it you have your CDkey you open up stem put the CD-key in it and you can download it like normal just make sure you get a package that has CS:S in it as well

so i buy hl2 then when i enter cd key just select the cs:s package

no all of them have CS:S there's only one version that is cheaper and doesn't have CS:S you have to check it when you buy it

all HL2 options include CS:S

Just install the game, go into Steam, select "play game" and select CS:S

no they were talking about a version of HL2 that didn't include CS:S it was a special version of a big shop like wallmart or something like that

you wont get HL:Source or DoD:Source

The Wal-Mart 'lite' version? I still think that was just a rumor, but Wal-Mart does have the power to influence a company to make a special edition just for them.

There have been rumors, although unproven as yet, that all future ports to Source will be released to all Steam account holders. Kind of like how if you bought the original HL (like I did) it opened all the official mods for free, minus CS:CZ
