Well, id just like to hear everybodys views of wow, i played the open beta and i have to say its such a superb game, the cartoon graphics make it WoW, i thought they would ruin gameplay but totally opposite i have to say i love this game as much as half-life2 definitly a great mmorpg, and im going to definitly get it.

i like professions they are good, pets are also great, also when you chat and say "lol" "rofl" or "haha" your character laughs which i think is great. i got to level 17 dwarf paladin in open beta, i totally love WoW.

im interested in hearing what everybody says about the game.

so all post your thoughts. all views welcome. and no hating without a reason but i cant see why anybody would hate WoW, i like the balance between grinding to level and just chilling, and not to mention the world is huge!

and they say they will have constant content updates which i hope is true!

Decent short term. Burned out quickly. Leveled to max and got bored. I figure there will be a big rush then a big fall. LAG LAG LAG. Was the worst lag ever. Shamans are way overpowered and warriors taunt sucks even with the new changes. HACKS already in game and ruining it. This is most imaddening. Careless and unacceptable.

I'm definately going to be getting this! It IS BETA so a lot of the leveling up will be sorted as well as the known bugs. Most games have teething problems. I'm sure the game will be a hit!

Im definitaly going to be getting this... I'v played warcraft ever since warcraft 1 first came out (I know thats a while ago ) I'v got Warcraft 1, Warcraft 2, Warcraft 2 Battlenet edition, Warcraft 3 and Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne. You bet im getting this game... But I hope that Blizzard will find a way to eliminate cheating
. I hate cheating, Cheating just makes games boring, No real challange at all, which is why I play games, no challagnge, no fun!

Well that's not necessarily true, as it could be patched and I'm sure some things will be. Of course I don't believe most problems will be resolved by release. It is Blizzard and I have faith that most issues will be resolved in a somewhat timely manner.

Too much...lol

In a lot of cases, it costs your social life, your family, your dog runs away, you...wait, I'm talking about games, not country music...

so many people are mad that they are wiping the beta characters. I expected it so im not mad, but i dont want to invest time into a game like i did EQ. I made it to level 28 in 2 months of beta. WoW is fun though, much less "grinding" than EQ was. There are quest givers everywhere you turn, and each class can solo quite well.

It is quite an 'easy' game so to speak.

As far as prices, anywhere from 12-15 bucks a month i would guess

Only if your a dope. I mean really the only thing that cost you those things is your actions not the game.

I'll be interested in seeing responses post launch.

In regards to this:

I'm definately going to be getting this! It IS BETA so a lot of the leveling up will be sorted as well as the known bugs. Most games have teething problems. I'm sure the game will be a hit!

This should be taken care of LONG before a game launches. Attempting to do any sort of balancing act for classes post launch serves to do a great job of pissing off your customer base. This has been an issue with WoW for as long as I played it, and it has never been changed, but has gotten worse. Sorry, it's a fundamental change in the game, and should be taken care of in Beta, period.

wouldn't be the first time a game was released retail with a patch already available.
