Broke down and bought hl2 today . I am not going to load it until tomorrow though since I wanna reload my OS (don't like the way I configured the drives) Well when I was in the store I saw something called Game On. I bought it for the speed disc and pc tuner mostly. Just wondering before I do an install of anyones experiences with this. Here is a link for the software.

Daemon tools and any number of 3rd party vid card consoles will do everything that does for ~$20 less. The last 'feature' it lists, I won't even dignify with a response :nonono:

FYI, mounting an image of a CD will do absolutely nothing to speed up the game, I can't think of a recent game that doesn't have a full installation option. The only reason we need the CD/DVD in a drive now is for copy protection.

Thanks Fallen gonna havta go check that out. As I said the main reasons I got it was for the disc copy and the tuner. I actually found a review somewhere and they said the cheat part was useless. I have been playing Halo online since I got it about a week ago (come in almost last every time and still love it)

while you're looking, grab a copy of Alcohol 120%, it's the best burning software I've found :nice:

well, i don't like this Steam thing that is forced to install to play HL2.
