Thief
Deus Ex
Ghost Recon
I don't like CS, that just like a KID's game with no strategy and such a lot of CRAZY SHOOTING.
I love the games need to use the BRAIN to think and corperate with the skills on Aiming and Stealthing.

I never really played CS cause I don't like it either but I think that there's a fair bit of strategy involved you really have to play with the team to win

I played CS in cyber cafe..I only saw the little kid playing with extension punk's stuff for auto amming the head. LOL
In CS, your personal skill is important but less focus on personal perform corperated with teamwork plus stealth strategy. Thats why I hate CS. Beside, the ragdoll for it is extremely poor, posture worst...
In Rainbow Six, you need more Strategy with your own and with your team in order to win with no loss of men. Also, you need act like a ghost. Skills are much diverse in FPS with the need of accurate amiming. There is also less spawn in R6.
JOTR is good for guns simulation. Parabolic curve for all bullets, but hte ppl dies with strange posture, too.
I heard HL2 is good but I not read any review of it yet.

I'm not even done with HL2 and it's easily the best FPS ever. I would put it up there as a contender for best game ever as well (although MGS3 is [content edited]ing hot).

i don't know if you're talking of "just PC" FPS, but i still think that N64 Perfect Dark is STILL one of the best FPS.... i really had a blast with that one, it's one of my personal favorites!

UT 2004, HL2, CSS, Doom 3 are all roughly equal in my mind. Desert Combat is a runner up.
