[255] Senior Member Posts: 804 Joined: 03/31/2004	it would seem that Valve's after HL2 release Suprise.. was the release of HL2 deathmatch.. as I'm sure we all know. But me.. along with I'm sure at least hundreds if not thousands of others now cannot play HL2M or HL2:SP or even CS:S or HL:S! Welcome to the wonderful world of QA... i'd like to take this moment to say that this is the reason why developers require publishers... For QA! For the love of all things kinda-sorta-holy! Can't a developer release a game that doesn't need patches within a week of release, and if they do need patches, the patches dont break the freaking game?! very peeved Edit: not to mention the steam forums are down.. quite the coincidence Edit: my spelling sucks right now... if there's an error somewhere that I havn't caught.. well.. Valve released a small patch not long after the initial release and all was well.
