I have fallen in love with this game! This is my first MMORPG. I have been a Quake player from the first game until now. Rocket Arena, Urban Terror and quite a few other mods later, I was ready for something different. Did UT2001-2003, Combat Flight Sims, you name it. Never a MMORPG though.

For the last month however, I have been playing this game and loving it.

Does anyone else play and if so, what's your online name?

Mine is, of course, Quakindude.

I just got my newest ship. A Cyclone which is one of the new Battlecruisers.

i don't know anything about EVE, but i've been wondering about MMORPG games.... i've been always interested in them, but i never had a decent conection to the internet to be able to play them.... now i have one (it's not friggin' fast, but it's much better.... from dial-up to 256KBps ADSL), and now i don't have the games!
i still disagree with paying so high fees, i trully think think that paying $15 (guess that's the average monthly fee for MMORPG games...) is high, after all, they do get a juicy profit by simply selling the software, and by charging that much, three months later it's as if you paid for another copy!
truth is, that those games are the closest to reality, cause NPC are incredibly reduced, and your dealing with humans.... maybe that's what's worth it....
