Ok, it's ugly. If I wanted to throw a boomerang, I'd throw a boomerang. I'd rather game.

ok, I retract my earlier statement about it looking like it was designed by a sony intern with a banana fetish... now, from that angle, it looks like Sony farmed the design of the controller out to Apple, and one of their interns with a banana fetish designed it...
and yes, I'd call that ugly...

If you flip it around and put it on your head you could be a bull with horns.

i dont think it is ugly, in PS2 controler the thing is small and in PS3 it is long, so my hands can hold the whole controler and have more control. When u get PS3 u will see what i am talking about.

Its Ugly. Kinda reminds me of one of those inner-tube things you pull behind a boat for recreational activities.

i agree with swat, the ps2 controllers were pretty small...hopefully with these new ones they will fit your hands.
oh, and i like the way the ps3 looks, and the controller is alright, not great, but alright.
also, halo isnt the only good game to be played, yes it is a great game, but its not the only one. i dont have an xbox now, and i wont get the new one.

Meh, I'm quite fond of my DualShock 2 controllers, and these look to be a nice improvement over them. Maybe went a bit too far, though. We won't be able to tell for sure if we like them or not until we can hold them in our hands, though. Photos are only so much.
Now, the console....

When I get a PS3? Just like you have one now? For all you know it could be the most uncomfortable thing in the world. It certainly looks like it is. Let's hope this isn't the final design.

I personally rank the controllers like this....
1. Dual Shock/Xbox Controller S ----I love them both. Cant beat Dual Shock, cant beat Controller S. To me anyway. 2. Xbox Controller ---- After getting used to it, I have learned to love it. 3. Super NES ---- Even if it did define "Pain" after hours of playing...So what, its SNES!! 4. Jaguar Controller ---- Dont get me started, I had a Jaguar, I liked it. I think I was the only one. /laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' />

how many of you are old enough to remember actually playing on the original Atari 2600 joystick, the 5200 joystick (the first one with a "pause" button), or the original, square NES gamepad?
wow, I'm old(er).....

Yea it is pretty uncomfortable looking, hopefully they will design something new. They should have a poll on there website about it, and let us all choose redesign!
