i wish
you know what my idea is i want to re-play the game through a capture card, and then link all the movies together (along with any brief clips of important gameplay elements) so you can watch it as like a 4hr MGS movie!

QUOTEis there going to be a mgs movie?
Actually although these could not be called mgs movies, they have alot in common with the older MGS games,. main character in these movies is called "Snake Plissken" they speak of waterlou incident, la-le-lu-le-lo and some small reference to foxhound, and these movies are...Escape From New York(1981) and Escape from L.A,(1996) i'm assuming that although there is no "real" connection between these movies and the game other then references and mention of things the game tells you about they are the closest thing to a MGS movie so far.

thanks for telling me about escape from NY! ive heard a lot about the movie but ive never seen it... it was so awesome! the first time i saw snake, i instantly understood where most of kojima's creativity comes from... not that he doesnt make awesome games, but i can no longer give him 100% credit for his ideas, and i can barely give him credit at all for the snake of MGS2/3 (MGS1 snake was nothing like the other two). i watch escape from LA tonight or tomorrow!

ok I have re-thought on my whole post and decided to post it,.. No Problem about mentioning the movie TheReturnOfAZ I'm glad you liked it.
Now for the more serious part, (*Please No One Quote Me In Case I Am Wrong*) Escape From New York was made in 1981 right?, If I remeber correctly the first MGS game was made in 1983? 1984. Now this is purely assumptions here but if the movie was made before the games wouldn't that mean that Hideo is not the sole owner of Snake, but the director/creator of Escape From New York is? and Hideo just scalped some of the ideas and the chracter from the director/creator of the movie with or without permissions? (Now I know I may not be right but i figured it would be intresting to point this out to continue this discussion further)If any MGS and Movie fans want to then by all means research and dig up what you can find, because this actually could prove to be something quite interesting to get to the bottom of.
