A friend of mine recently convinced me to try world of warcraft.

I bought the game, installed and have since then been downloading the patch via dial-up. It's been about 15 hours so far and I'm at 93mb of the 112mb file. I'm begining to worry that if this download is'nt good I'll have to go through this again. I may have an alternative though...

Is it possible to have my friend burn the v1.3.0 patch to CD and install it that way?

See if what you need is here:
http://browse.files.filefront....d_of...rowsefiles.html' ">http://browse.files.filefront....5163;/browsefiles.html

If you find anything, ask your friend to burn it to a CD and you won't have to wait for the download. Games now-a-days are murder on dialup connections.
